Dr. Helene Farr is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and confidence. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, along with a Master of Arts in Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Farr completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Counseling Center, where she provided therapy and crisis support to a diverse range of clients. Her clinical experience includes work in community mental health, medical centers, and college counseling settings, including Augustus F. Hawkins Family Health Center, Santa Monica College Counseling Center, Shields for Families, UC Irvine Medical Center, and Pepperdine University’s Community Counseling Center. She has also contributed to research on neurological markers of depression and served as a volunteer victim advocate supporting survivors of sexual assault.

In her work as a therapeutic coach, Dr. Farr helps clients build insight, strengthen emotional resilience, and move through life transitions with greater confidence. She uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and interpersonal techniques, tailoring her approach to each individual. Her areas of focus include self-esteem, relationships, identity development, grief, and stress management.

Having lived in multiple countries, Dr. Farr brings a culturally aware and compassionate perspective to her work. She strives to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change.
