Joyce Soong, M.A., Ed.M. — Coach |Program Coordinator | Bilingual (English • 中文)
Joyce holds dual master’s degrees—an M.A. in Social Science from UCLA and an Ed.M. in Education Policy Analysis from Harvard University. She brings a multicultural lens to coaching and community work, informed by her experience with the Modern Women’s Foundation in Taiwan supporting women and families affected by domestic and sexual violence.

At EK Psych, Joyce helps lead international initiatives and designs accessible, culturally responsive coaching pathways for Mandarin-speaking clients across the U.S. and Taiwan. Her style is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed—prioritizing psychological safety, practical skill-building, and sustainable habit change. Joyce especially enjoys supporting women, immigrants, students and early-career professionals, and anyone navigating cross-cultural identity and life transitions.

Areas of focus (coaching): stress & burnout, resilience practices, boundary-setting, communication, career/academic clarity, cross-cultural adjustment, and post-adversity growth (non-clinical coaching support).
